The 2012 Consumer Electronics Show which is held annually at Las Vegas is the launch pad for new products for major manufacturers in the electronics industry.
This year sees the launch of many new blu-ray players with better features. Panasonic announced that it will be shipping some new Blu-ray players soon. It has players that fit every budget. The line-up consists of four 3D and two 2D models. They all feature Panasonic’s brand new Viera Connect and improved UniPhier chips. As we know that their previous models are very well received, we are pretty confident that one of the new models may well be the best blu ray player for 2012.
Sony also launched 3 Blu-ray players with the flagship model boasting Digital Cinema 4k upscaling. All three models, the entry-level BDP-S390, BDP-S490 and BDP-S790 support 3D Blu-ray and integrated wireless connectivity. The BDP-S490 supports 2D and 3D video, Sony’s Entertainment Network thanks to integrated wifi and DLNA streaming. All these players will be featured in the blu-ray player reviews when they are launched.
